Business Activity

Company founder and MD, Robert Brown, set up the company in 2006 after working in London for several years. Originally from Swansea, he has family in the area and this, coupled with Aylesbury Vale's excellent transport links and proximity to the capital, lead him to set up in the town.

Rob came to the Aylesbury Hot Office Business Centre nearly 3 years ago when he established his business. He started off using the services of the centre as a 'virtual client', using the business and telephone answering service.

A year later, the business had grown, which meant they needed a 2-person office and then soon afterwards, a 4-person office. The business reached a milestone in Mar 2010 when turnover reached £500,000 and they also required a building to store their own equipment and now also have an industrial unit to complement their office space.

Key to success

As Rob explains: "The majority of our clients were originally in central London so it made sense to locate somewhere with good road and rail links. In addition, there is a very good supply of skilled tradesmen in Aylesbury Vale which is vital for my business, as most of our staff live locally."

Talking about the growth plans for the area, he says: "I'm particularly excited about the improvements in infrastructure such as the recent opening of Parkway station and the Transport Hub as well as enhancements to public services in the area. Clearly the London 2012 Paralympics at nearby Stoke Mandeville will also be a fantastic event. This will create a lot of opportunities for our business, particularly the improvements to public service and housing. So we're looking to sustain the growth we've achieved over the past few years by expanding further into the local area and offering more of a 'total FM' service to both existing and potential clients".
